Hi Clyde, Thanks for the welcome. I'm a collector of militeria from WWI and WWII. I like to read about the individual soldier experiencies from the front lines.
Thanks for the continual invites to the Cork Western Front events. Unfortunately for the time being Im based in Galway so Im rarely down leeside. However I will attend at a future date its just a question of when. Best of luck on behalf of all in the 81st.
Hi Clyde thanks for the welcome, John Condon will be part of the project him and the other eighty or so Ballybricken men that died in that conflict .
Thank's for the comments, only spotted them as I was updating profile. The flag got its first outing last weekend at the Irish Model Soldier Society show last weekend. As we passed a group of tourists in the castle gardens I heard one of them remark: "They're Prussians, look at the flag." Nice one.

Hi Clyde
Thanks for the welcome. Like you I never tire of visiting the WF. Thats one thing I miss about having moved from the UK, from where I lived over there I could be on the WF in about five hours for less than 100 euros, don't know when I will get to go again! Good luck with the book. Regards IanC
