Retired. Ex pupil of Duke of York's Royal Military School, Dover which incorporates the Royal Hibernian School, Dublin (amalgamated in 1923). Served in Canada, British Guiana, Denmark, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak, N. Ireland and West Germany with the Queen's Own Buffs and 2 Queen's. Thereafter with the Northern Ireland Office and Royal Mail. Domiciled in Belfast. Member of National Malaya & Borneo Veterans' Association and the Irish Regiments Historical Society.
